The first map pack for Call of Duty: World at War has been downloaded over 2 million times.
Soon, Activision will discover whether a second map pack will have
similar selling power, as the Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 2 is
set to arrive on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network tomorrow for
$9.99 (MSP 800) The
new pack includes four new maps. In "Banzai," players battle for
control of a jungle river bridge while snipers hide in caves. In
"Corrosion," combatants duke it out in a decrepit Russian train yard
where enemies can be above or below you. "Sub Pens" features intense
melee combat in a bombed-out Japanese submarine. "Shi No Numa" is an
addition to the four-player co-op mode, where players have to keep
moving if they want to survive an unending zombie onslaught.
