Footage showing Michael Jackson's rehearsals for what would have been his final tour could be turned into a movie, according to
The Hollywood Reporter.
The trade mag reports that over 100 hours of material was shot showing the singer - who died last Thursday - performing his back catalogue in preparation in for the 'This is It' tour, which was scheduled to play at the 02 Arena later in the year.
AEG Live, who organised the tour, owns the rights to the footage (which they released a snippet of yesterday) and could potentially also use it to create live albums and a pay-per-view TV special.
The material - some of which was shot in high definition - apparently includes
Jacko performing hits "Thriller" and "Beat it" , as well as the star in production meetings and auditions.
